As an Investor, you have total control of what loan contracts that we invest in on your behalf because we never take possession of your money. Once you make the decision to invest, your money is placed in an independent Third Party Trust Fund to ensure that you invest only when you have given written permission to do so. We will share the opportunities with you in detail and YOU CHOOSE where your money goes. Unlike some traditional models, there is no lock in contract period.

Risk Management

Managing and minimising risk is an important factor for how we operate. GovCorp Finance takes serious precautions to ensure that all assets are financially clear and without debt before engaging in a loan offer. Our processes include a Personal Property Security Register (PPSR) search that provides a financial check over entire businesses and personal property. In addition, all loans must be secured with bricks and mortar caveats.

GovCorp Finance offers legal recovery advantages including: Step-in rights, Rights to sell the property at auction, Interest registered on the title, Deed of guarantee and indemnity, and we ensure that you receive A-Class lawyers and legal recovery.

Legal Structure

Our structure is designed to protect you, the investor, because under our agreement, you maintain ownership over the security linked to each loan. Gov Corp Finance is the custodian company linked to the loan. This means as the custodian company, we ONLY act as the bare trustee’s.

    Our legal structure can be identified as:

  • Custodian Company; Syndication deed between Custodian Company and investors.
  • Gov Corp Finance as the custodian company acts as mortgage manager on your behalf, and we provide our service to you by:

  • Sourcing multiple opportunities to give you maximum exposure to the market.
  • Conducting a thorough due diligence on each opportunity prior to submitting to you for interest.
  • Approving the opportunity through our credit department to ensure risk is minimised.
  • Managing the mortgage for the lifetime of the loan, enabling you to enjoy the returns while we do the ground work.

So why is your investment safe with us?

  • Promises a return to Investor?

    YES. Our Investors keep their funds in their own account and draw it down at the time of the transaction and receives the return prescribed in the Investor Agreement typically ranging between 18% –24% per annum.

  • Who receives the full interest income?

    You receive the prescribed rate written in the actual Investor Agreement as agreed upfront. All trailer fees and transactional fees received by GovCorp Finance will be clearly outlined in the Investor Agreement between GovCorp Finance and the Investor. You will typically receive between 18% –24% per annum.

  • Minimum Funds Allocation Period?

    No Lock-in period other than for the duration of the loan itself

  • Who has discretion of investment decision?

    YOU. Not the Loan Manager.

  • Are Investor funds fully secured?

    Your funds will be held in the trust account of Top Tier Accountant & Solicitor, not by GovCorp Finance (refer “Flow of Funds” chart).
